Dental Implants

Are you tired of your removable dentures? Ever thought about how great it would be to have your permanent teeth back again? Dental implants are just the ticket! You can brush them, floss them and take care of them just like your natural teeth! What’s more, implant teeth are much more durable and long-lasting than other forms of tooth replacement. You’ll have a beautiful, functional smile that restores your comfort and your confidence!

What are Dental Implants?

Dental Implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will

be preserved. The implants themselves are tiny titanium posts that are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. In addition, implants can help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration which occurs when teeth are missing.

Dental implants are changing the way people live! With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life.

Replacing a Single Tooth

Dental Implants can be used to replace a single tooth. Quite simply, the implant is placed and a single tooth prosthesis (an artificial tooth) is attached to the post.

First, your dentist will perform the implant procedure and your restorative dentist will add the prosthesis. A single tooth implant is the most natural looking way to replace a missing tooth.

Implant Supported Bridges

When designing a case to replace several missing adjacent front teeth, a restorative dentist or implant specialist may recommend a dental implant bridge instead of individual crowns. The reason for this is that due to anatomic limitations, replacing front teeth with crowns will often produce poor esthetic results and compromise your natural teeth.

Replacing multiple adjoining front teeth with implant-supported bridges may reduce your treatment cost and will improve the esthetics of your smile.

Implant Supported Dentures

Implant supported dentures can bring back normal function and a confident smile for people who are missing many or all of their teeth. No longer do patients need to suffer from ill fitting dentures that prevent proper chewing function and can create embarrassing social situations.

Lower dentures can now be secured with as few as two dental implants. We use small attachments that eliminate the need for a bar to connect the implants together. This saves time and greatly reduces cost, but most importantly, it changes peoples lives.

Patients consistently comment that they wish they would have had implants placed years earlier. People who, before implants, only ate soft foods are now enjoying steak, chicken, and even corn on the cob. Plus, a well-secured denture improves confidence, quality of life, and well-being.
